It will be a blessing in disguise for when the left-wing illuminati do all that's on their agenda.knowitallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14362656932523931602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19824504.post-82572468243147151432008-11-30T14:11:00.000-08:002008-11-30T14:11:00.000-08:00I have absolutely NO sympathy for the $75.00 (and ...I have absolutely NO sympathy for the $75.00 (and up) an hour employees of the auto industry right now. WTF? The unions are counting on the gov't bail-out and are holding firm on their pledge to "not give up anything else" to the companies that will likely go bk. Hey! Union people! Don't you know that you will get paid $0 per hour if the company tanks?

I have even less sympathy for the auto industry execs. let them slash their salaries, trips and other perks before asking all of us non-$75.00/hr workers to support them in all of their excesses.

And shame on them all for sitting back on their gas guzzling SUV and big truck lines instead of leading the way to independence from the big oil companies!

We should all be mad as hell and demand that the people responsible be held accountable. When a company tanks from the effects of bad management, those in upper management should lose their jobs along with any severance pay, pension, etc.

Unions were a good thing - once upon a time - but all they do now is cause inflation to accelerate, steal from employees dues and pension plans, bask in their own aura of power and bleed this country dry. They do little, if anything, for the employees of most companies other than engage them in the mass hysteria of a culture of greed. Gimme, gimme, gimme........

Democrats and Republicans alike have no balls at all when it comes to standing up to large corporations and/or unions. Money seems to speak louder these days than ever before. I am totally disgusted with the entire situation.

Put them all in an unpadded cell, shake vigorously and knock their heads together.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19824504.post-45676636099968741352008-11-20T12:50:00.000-08:002008-11-20T12:50:00.000-08:00Unless the auto industry can switch to the product...Unless the auto industry can switch to the production of electric or natural gas cars, they should be allowed to die a natural death. Otherwise the Saudis or the Oil industry should be the ones to bail them out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19824504.post-41056882789361206142008-11-20T12:45:00.000-08:002008-11-20T12:45:00.000-08:00And if the industry goes down and millions of jobs...And if the industry goes down and millions of jobs are lost and they will be believe me, who will be held responsible. The three states most affected by this are MI, IN and OH. It will be a cold day in hell before a Republican is ever elected in these states again. Then there's the roughly 12,000 big three dealerships across the country and often important fixtures in small towns. If the GOP want to be the executioner of three million plus jobs this is the way to do it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
