As I've said before, the Democrats and liberals have an obsession with taking down Karl Rove, but so far they have been unable to come up with anything even resembling wrongdoing by the "boy genius."
Here Fred Barnes tries to dissect the left's seemingly pathological hatred of one of this centuries greatest political minds.
Hollywood Girls Gone Wild
In which Laurie David and Sheryl Crow harangue Karl Rove.
by Fred Barnes
05/07/2007, Volume 012, Issue 32
The showdown at the White House Correspondents' dinner was more emotional and lasted longer than was first reported. It started when Laurie David introduced herself to Karl Rove. He knew who she was--Hollywood's leading Bush-hater and a producer of An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore's film on global warming. David quickly launched into a harangue. President Bush has done nothing on global warming, she said. Rove answered that Bush has funded more research on the subject than any president. That's worthless, David responded. All the scientific questions have been answered, she insisted. Now's the time for action! Rove cited the recent report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which projects a modest rise in sea level of 7 to 23 inches over the next century. David told Rove he was wrong. We've had the hottest summer and winter ever, she said, plus extreme weather events. The president needs to talk to real global warming experts. Rove said he already does. "Would you like me to give you a list?" he asked. She didn't. You don't have anybody who understands the seriousness of the issue talking to the president, David said. Yes, we do, Rove said, mentioning the president's science adviser, Dr. John Marburger.
That's when the debate got more heated and more physical. Sheryl Crow, the singer, suddenly appeared. Without introducing herself, she demanded that Rove tell her how many corporations were financing Marburger's research. Rove responded that Marburger has a long and distinguished academic record. David said Bush must lead on
global warming and America must emulate China--China!--by signing the Kyoto Protocol. (China indeed signed, but didn't agree to curb greenhouse gases.)
Crow was more insistent, poking Rove in the chest and pinching his arm. She said Rove worked for her. Rove said he worked for the American people. Crow said she and David were the American people. And at that point, Rove turned and sat back down at his table, where he was a guest of the New York Times.
The point of recounting this stunt by two of Hollywood's most prominent limousine liberals--who have accused Rove of rudeness--is to put him in the proper political context. He is the chief target of Democrats, liberals, and the left, and they burn with a desire to see him discredited, fired, and jailed. If all else fails, and it has so far, they'll settle for tainting him as impolite.
A few Democrats have talked of impeaching President Bush, but that idea is a nonstarter. Representative Dennis Kucinich has called for impeaching Vice President Cheney. But with enemies like Kucinich, Cheney doesn't need friends. When the Democratic presidential candidates were polled at a debate in South Carolina last week, they pointedly failed to agree with Kucinich. So that leaves Rove at the top of the Democratic hit list.
Rove is more than a symbol. He is the architect of Bush's election triumphs and an influential player in pushing the president's agenda. He represents Republican success. The Democratic strategy now is to criminalize that success by treating normal political conduct by the Bush administration, spearheaded by Rove, as a series of criminal acts.
In a speech last week, House Democratic Caucus chairman Rahm Emanuel declared that corruption in the Bush White House is worse than that of the Nixon administration in Watergate. "In many ways, what we have seen from this administration is far more extensive than that scandal," he said. The interests of the Republican party have been elevated over the national interest. "This is no accident," Emanuel claimed. "It's all by design."
And the chief designer, in Emanuel's scheme of things, is Rove. In 2000, Rove "often drew an analogy between that election and the election of 1896, in which adviser Mark Hanna joined forces with many of the plutocrats of that Gilded Age and ushered in a 35-year era of Republican dominance," Emanuel said. "Without a trace of reserve, George Bush and Karl Rove set out to re-create that earlier era of one-party rule."
Of course they did. They created a majority center-right coalition (overturned by the 2006 election), just as Hanna put together a Republican coalition of the well-heeled and the working class, and just as FDR created a dominant Democratic majority made up of Northern liberals and Southern segregationists. There's a name for this kind of activity: politics.
So what are Rove's crimes? That's what Democrats, now in control of Congress and armed with subpoena power, are desperately looking for. Their hopes initially rested with special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald. When he cleared Rove of wrongdoing in the CIA leak case, their disappointment was palpable.
Now they've turned to congressional fishing expeditions. When Rove's name
turned up peripherally in the controversy over eight fired U.S. attorneys, they salivated. Democrats said he must testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee and not just on the case of the U.S. attorneys, but on everything. "What else was Karl Rove doing when it came to other activities, departments of the government?" asked Senate Democratic whip Dick Durbin.
The White House has refused to send Rove to testify under oath and on the record (with a transcript resulting), suspecting Democrats would set a trap to catch him in some discrepancy with other testimony and generate a criminal case. Without Rove to gang up on, Democrats have tried a backdoor approach by subpoenaing a Rove aide, Sara Taylor.
Two other probes reflect the obsession with Rove. Both are based on the assumption that normal politics as practiced by Rove and Republicans is criminal. One investigation is looking at political briefings for political appointees--not career civil servants--at federal departments. The briefings, a longstanding practice, were delivered by Rove aides.
The other concerns separate Republican National Committee email accounts used by Rove and others. About these, Emanuel said, "I have a simple question and it remains unanswered: Why?" In truth, there's a simple answer, one well-known to Emanuel. The RNC email accounts were set up for political business, which is not supposed to be carried out on government email accounts. If Rove had instead used government email for political messages, Democrats would be after him for that.
Even in Watergate, no single aide in the Nixon White House was pursued as relentlessly as Rove has been. Yet these investigations have uncovered one dry hole after another. And unless beating Democrats by ordinary political means becomes a crime, Rove will remain at large and at work. The best Democrats can hope for is to insult and assault him at a Washington dinner.

Rosie's Departure
Rosie is an awful American and disgusting human being. She represents just about everything that most Americans detest about the far-left and celebrities in general.
Fortunately, come June she will no longer have a network platform to spew her hateful and irresponsible rhetoric from.
She claims she's leaving due to a contract dispute, and that may be true. But more likely she was pushed off "The View" by pressure from by Disney and the program's sponsors.I believe that her gross crotch grabbing and Murdoch bashing at the Matrix Awards this weekend was the final straw.
No one in the history of television has been more irresponsible in using their position on the airwaves.
Regardless of the reasons why, the Stop Rosie movement, of which this blog has been a big part, is now over.
I believe that although the sponsor boycott had a limited effect, all together, our efforts were successful in helping to focus attention on Rosie and her outrageous statements. The movement empowered Americans who were rightfully furious at ABC and Disney for mainstreaming this woman's wacky views.
So let this be a warning to any celebrity who uses the platform they have been given to side with our enemies, or to mainstream the 9/11 "truth" movement's insane and debunked tin-foil hat theories.
Let this also be a lesson to those in the mainstream media: Americans who care about their country and the truth will hold you accountable if you are irresponsible in who you put on the airways.
So, to all who have helped in this effort, I thank you.
And to Rosie, Good riddance. Hopefully we won't have to put up with you on a daily basis ever again.
Finally, here is a link to a site that has the lowlights of Rosie's memorable stint on The View.

Congressman Kucinich Introduces Impeachment Articles Against Dick Cheney
Tuesday, April 24, 2007
Fox News
Rep. Dennis Kucinich
WASHINGTON — Rep. Dennis Kucinich introduced three articles of impeachment against Dick Cheney on Tuesday, saying the vice president lied to America to get into a war in Iraq.
Kucinich, a 2008 presidential candidate, said Cheney misled the nation about Iraq's having weapons of mass destruction; he had been deceitful about a nexus between Iraq and Al Qaeda and was being aggressive toward Iran "absent any real threat" from the Islamic Republic.
Cheney "purposely altered intelligence gathering to justify the use of the Armed Forces in Iraq in a manner damaging to national security," the first article reads. The vice president also is accused of using the "intelligence process to deceive citizens and Congress about the tie between Iraq and Al Qaeda in a manner damaging to the United States."
The Ohio Democrat said he hadn't discussed his articles of impeachment with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi or other Democratic leaders but "has the support of millions of Americans."
In fact, Kucinich's proposal comes ahead of a series of protests this weekend calling for the impeachment of both Bush and Cheney. Hundreds of delegates to this Saturday's California Democratic Convention in San Diego are expected to introduce their own impeachment resolution against the president and vice president, said Jacob Park, national coordinator for the April 28 action.
Dennis Kucinich. King of the Loonies.

Idiot Of The Week
It’s been a rough week. As the news cycle shifted focus from the now seemingly trivial Imus uproar to the truly grotesque events at Virginia Tech, some of the dumber things that happened this week were kind of lost in the shuffle, and with good reason.
So this week's Idiot of the Week award is being given to someone who you may have never heard of.
He’s a rapper who goes by the name of
Cam’ron
This week in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes Cam’Ron
Said this in reference to the practice of “snitching” or turning someone in to the police:
"If I knew the serial killer was living next door to me? I wouldn't call and tell anybody on him — but I'd probably move. But I'm not going to call and be like, 'The serial killer's in 4E. "
Of course, with Monday's events in Blacksburg this comment seems even more dangerous.
It represents a trend that has become commonplace in the black community and has been pushed along in large part by hip-hop artistes, for whom the mantra “Don’t Snitch” has become part of the lexicon.
What drives this new “code of ethics” as Cam’Ron so eloquently put it, is, of course, a distrust of police and a desire to see fewer members of the black community put in jail.
Forget the victims of the crime. Or the pain and suffering of loved ones whose lives have been destroyed by the all too frequent, senseless violence that is so prevalent in the inner city.
Cam’ron and his hip-hop ilk “don’t snitch” and because of it there is more pain and suffering in the world. It is becoming acceptable, even expected among young people to stay silent when they know about a crime.
Of course for Cam’ron, it’s simply good business.
He said in his interview that if his fans knew that he had turned in even the most nefarious of criminals it would damage his “street cred” and hurt his album sales.
Thus, the hip-hop world and those who are a part of it have created a bizarro world of sorts in which crime is okay, but doing the right thing and trying to make your community a safer place is not socially acceptable.
Great job, Cam. You’re truly doing your part to ensure that the murder rate in the black community remains sky high and that the next generation of inner city youth has no concept of right and wrong.
Runner Up: This is a great story.
John Kerry announced early in the year, much to the relief of Democrats everywhere, that he had decided not to seek the party’s presidential nomination again in 2008.
But this is John Kerry. The man responsible for bringing the term “flip-flop” into dinner table conversations all over America.
On Monday, Kerry changed his mind and told the media that he is now, once again, considering a run for the presidency.
How does this man ever get anything done? It must take him 4 hours each day just to dress himself and he wants to be president?!!
Not that our nation is in any danger of a Kerry presidency, but you gotta admit the Senator has turned into a caricature of his 2004 self.
Finally, German police have not yet tracked down our second runner up for Idiot of the Week, but when they do, they should immediately put him a large rubber room.
This unknown nut has been sending death threats to Knut the polar bear, the newest celebrity at the Berlin Zoo. Knut has received world wide attention, for not only being adorable, but also for almost being put to death.
A couple of weeks ago, animal rights nuts wanted to put Knut to sleep, due to the fact that his mother had abandoned him and he could not be raised in the standard polar bear fashion.
Apparently, they were worried that this would cause the world's eco-system to go all cuckoo and lead to the apocalypse.
As a result, everyone in the world became outraged and thus dubbed Knut, Prince of the Polar Bears.
This week someone wrote the zoo and threatened to kill Knut.
What's going on? Why do so many people seem to have it out for poor Knut?
Is this an offensive from the grizzly bear lobby?
Is there a penguin mafia out there trying to send a message to the other inhabitants of the Arctic?
As you can see, there were a lot of excellent candidates for our award this week.
Harry Reid was the frontrunner, but I had to say something about that guy on Wednesday. I just couldn't contain my anger.
Therefore, Cam'ron, you are our Idiot of the Week.
But thanks to all of our candidates this week for convincing me that everyone on the planet, except for myself(and you of course), is a complete moron. Sphere: Related Content

NO CURE FOR CRAZY
As the images related to the Virginia Tech massacre are permanently etched into our minds, our knee jerk reactions are to first, blame someone, and then attempt to prevent this from happening again.
Predictably on the left, both in our nation and in the ivory towers of the European “elite”, there was an instant call for more gun control laws and regulations, of course, and condemning America’s gun loving “culture of violence.” Forget that the killer wasn’t even American.
The calls from the left were for some kind of immediate, unspecific, cure-all “gun control” policy, with liberals seemingly forgetting that “gun control” has never worked anywhere and in most cases makes things worse.
This, in concert with their bizarre, yet seemingly pathological hatred of the NRA was expected immediately after the shooting.
Conservative Americans preemptively struck down the left’s arguments before the media was able to mainstream them, causing both politicians and commentators to back away from the colossal waste of time which would be another pointless gun control debate.
I wish there was a solution as easy as throwing all of the guns into the sea, or simply taking Grand Theft Auto off store shelves and not allowing 50 Cent to rap anymore.
Common sense Americans know however, that those are all futile endeavors, which if accomplished would do nothing to alleviate the problem of school shootings or inner city violence.
This is a crazy person problem, and because of that there is no solution to it. That’s right. There is no way that we can stop a crazy individual from killing people.
If he can’t buy guns at a store, he’ll find them somewhere else.
There is no anti-crazy pill he can take.
The technology used in "Minority Report" to catch criminals before they commit crimes is years away, and you can’t lock a person up for an extended period of time for the kinds of things that Cho Seung-Hui was guilty of.
You can’t force a person’s parents to take an interest in a child’s problems.
You can’t force the other kids to be nice to him, or to make him popular in the schoolyard.
You can’t constantly have security roaming the halls at college campuses.
You can’t put every school kid in the nation in a Kevlar vest, and you can’t get every young person in America to carry a firearm to school for purposes of self-defense.
Although, if someone else in the area had been armed, that, in fact, might have saved countless young lives in this situation. Unfortunately, the school was a “gun-free zone.” Even if some student or security personnel had been carrying a weapon, they would have probably been asked to leave the school after they saved everyone’s lives.
Hey! Come to think of it, Didn’t Cho Seung-Hui know it was a “gun-free zone?” ‘Cause if he had known that the whole disaster would have been averted, right?
Anyway.
There will always be one or two nuts who fall through society's cracks and
who have an irreconcilable beef with society.
In this case, Cho Seung-Hui hated rich people. It was almost a microcosm of Marxist philosophy: a hatred of the wealthy leads to the extremes of communism and socialism, which inevitably lead to death and suffering.
This kid was leaving clues as to his violent tendencies and we still couldn’t prevent his twisted horrifying crime. That’s partially because no one expects even the most disturbed individual to perform an act as heinous as the one that Cho Seung-Hui did.
It’s an anomaly, yet one which can not be prevented, if the killers mind is set.
Yes, people could have been warned, but I don’t think most people expect even the most angry, warped, socially inept individual to commit an act even half as heinous as this massacre.
There is no way that we can protect all 300 million Americans from a single lunatic with his mind set on carnage.
We can’t do it with laws, we can’t do it with shrinks, we can’t do it with pills, we can’t do it with positive reinforcement or artistic outlets.
Essentially, all we can do is sit back and hope that there aren’t very many people who are capable of commiting evil acts like those of Cho Seung-Hui.
I like to think that there aren’t too many of them out there, but for those that are,
the sad fact remains that there is no cure for crazy.

"THE WAR IS LOST"
I'm in the middle of writing my analysis of the Virginia Tech massacre, and in the piece I mention how some are attempting to exploit the tragedy for political gain.
Then Harry Reid comes out today as if to show those people exactly how it's done.
Reid says "The war is lost."
And there should be no doubt that Reid has wanted to say this for a long time.
The bombings in Bagdhad yesterday simply gave him an excuse to say it.
That's what he wants. For the war to be "lost."
When the surge shows signs of working, as it has for the last two months, Reid is silent, but as soon as the terrorists rear their ugly heads again, that's it. It's over.
It's Harry Reid, political opportunist extraordinaire.
Cut, run, retreat and surrender. Slow bleed. That's his plan. And it's 100% political.
It is undoubtedly the wrong thing to do. But he and his fellow Democrats don't seem to care. They smell political blood, and they will continue to undermine the efforts of our military in order to feed on a Republican's political corpse.
Shame on you, Senator Reid. Shame on you. Our troops are in greater danger today than they were yesterday because of your party's political ambition.

The Far Left's Poet Laureate
For those of you who don't know, Rosie is a blogger as well. And she's an awful one. Her postings are stream of conscious poetry of sorts. She does not accept comments, probably because she knows that most of them would be from angry Americans, trying to help her see the light stop blindly following conspiracy web-sites that she links to her site.
With her posting from a few days ago she shows that she's paying attention to us and our efforts to get her off the air.
She admits that she has visited Stop Rosie.Com, where over 76,000 have signed the petition. Here's her "posting", if you can get through it.

O'Reilly said something really interesting tonight.
He believes that Rosie is one of the top conduits, through which the far-left in this country gets their message out.
I don't know if that's entirely true. I mean even the far-left must understand that Rosie is not the most likeable spokesperson for progressive causes.
The again, Al Franken body-slams people at political rallies and cries on the air and he's the Democratic favorite for the US senate seat in Minnesota.
This boycott is tricky. We on the right, usually get our message out by way of talk radio, since it is the one media outlet that we dominate.
With a sponsor boycott, guys who usually support us are afraid to get involved, because they fear that someone would try to do the same thing to them. So Hannity, O'Reilly and others who we have come to rely on to help us cannot really assist us in this endeavor.
Where as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson really have nothing to lose. They can simply mobilize black people to their cause and not have to worry about repercussions, especially due to the fact that they have a track record of shaking down companies who don't do what they please. Especially Jackson.
So check out Rosie's "blog" for a laugh.
And when she talks about terror being used to "scare Americans" (which isn't true, and if it is, it's not working) let's just think of all the things that liberals like her have used to scare Americans into supporting their progressive agenda:
AIDS
Social Security
Global Warming
Reinstatement of a Military Draft
Deficits
Nuclear Anihilation
And coming soon The Virginia Tech massacre in order to promote a their gun control agenda.
New sponsors added nightly.

Idiot Of The Week
Let’s recap this weeks top news stories.
Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus,
Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Nappy Headed Hoes, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus.
It was as if in a matter of hours, the media’s obsession with Anna Nicole had been replaced by the crucifixion of her antithesis. A walking skeleton of a man who had done the worst thing that any white person can ever do--especially an unsympathetic man who had made his career off of being a complete jackass.
But Imus, has paid for his crime. He has lost as much as we can take from him. Therefore, he is NOT our Idiot of The Week.
Instead this week’s honor goes to a group of individuals who basked in the light being projected from the Imus story this week. They served to remind us all that the most negative effects of racism in America, come not from those who offend minorities with a joke, but rather from those who exploit those who make mistakes, in order to shift the focus on themselves and their crusade, whatever that may be.
Therefore this week’s Idiots are:
Al Sharpton
Jesse Jackson
And
Mike Nifong.
Al Sharpton is the kind of public figure who appears on the scene every time something even remotely resembling an injustice occurs to an African-American.
He speaks, runs for president and then leaves, causing most people to collectively inquire; “Who the hell was that guy, and who gave him a microphone?”
Remember Tawana Brawley? Remember when he referred to Jews as “Diamond Merchants?” He doesn’t. And that’s the problem.
Jesse Jackson. He’s the guy who called New York “Hymie Town” and yet he’s the moral authority when it comes to racism in America? Huh?
Is it me or would Jesse be more effective if he were talking about the real problems facing the African American community, like, oh, I don’t know the 70% out of wed-lock birthrate? Oh, that’s right. He contributed to that!
Besides, It’s hard to find words that rhyme with “illegitimate”.
Finally, Nifong is the worst of the bunch. This man, ruined the lives of three innocent young men, simply to advance his political career in his heavily black district. And it worked.
Only now has he apologized.
It took them a week to fire Imus, it took almost a year to take Nifong off the case.
Guys like Jackson, Sharpton and the vile Nation of Islam, as well as politically correct, liberal professors at Duke University, rushed to convict the three men in the media, so that they could claim victory in their political Jihad against the big, bad “white power structure.”
And after all of the protests, all the chanting and mock press conferences, it turned out that the accuser was an alcoholic drug addict who had more DNA on her than a peep-show doorknob.
These three individuals are representative of the American media’s double standard in its neverending quest to make up for the evils of slavery and segregation. But all they are doing is supporting the race baiters like Jackson and Sharpton and facilitating those so-called black leaders' inability to deal with the real problems facing the black community.
Oh and the MSM is still attacking the Duke lacrosse players. Check out this piece by ABC's Terry Moran and prepare to get angry.
Maybe he and Rosie should hang.
So Jesse, Al and Mike you are the Idiots of the Week.
And speaking of Idiots, here’s some Rosie news for you:
AOL
After Imus, DeLay Calls for Rosie to Be Fired
Wants Conservatives to Lead Anti-O'Donnell Push
(April 13) -- Fanning the flames of discontent sparked by the Imus controversy, former congressman Tom DeLay is making a plea for his fellow conservatives to get Rosie O'Donnell fired for recent remarks she made.
"I'm calling for conservatives to take on Rosie O'Donnell," DeLay said during an interview with CNN. "She criticized and ridiculed Chinese-Americans, she accused the president of being responsible for 9/11. Let's now start calling for her resignation."
He also recently penned an article on TownHall.com titled "If the Left Takes Imus, We’ll Take Rosie."
DeLay's comments come just as Don Imus ' career was brought to a screeching halt after he referred to the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos."
O'Donnell responded to DeLay on her blog with a post titled "Tommy D," calling him a "criminal" and "sad slug," and also says his claims about her 9/11 comments are wrong. She then goes on to post a wikipedia transcript of Delay's indictments for illegal acceptance of funds while he was U.S. House Majority Leader.
O'Donnell's spurned quite a bit of controversy lately. She recently questioned the cause of collapse for World Trade Center 7, a building near the Twin Towers that collapsed eight hours after the planes first hit. That led to a feud between O'Donnell and Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.
Before the O'Reilly spat, O'Donnell and Donald Trump were involved in a back-and-forth feud after O'Donnell criticized Donald Trump 's ethics during the Miss USA scandal. Trump shot back at her, mocking her weight and looks.
First, there is no “feud” between Rosie and O’Reilly. O’Reilly never attacked Rosie personally, like she does to everyone including both O’Reilly and Delay, he’s just drawing attention to all the stupid stuff that she said.
And kudos to Tom Delay - another victim of liberal media character assassination - for his attempt to bring this story back into the spotlight.
By the way, if you want a good laugh, watch this video clip of The Nation of Islam's Malik Shabazz on O'Reilly, Thursday night. He insists that the Duke lacrosse players are guilty and then calls Michelle Malkin a prostitute. Ah....good old Islam.

Still Worried about Her Job, Rosie Keeps Defending Imus
I will be updating the Sponsor List tonight. I'm a bit behind in my monitoring of "The View" by way of my TiVo. I'm sure you all understand. In the meantime, here's an exchange courtesy of News Busters:
Rosie Still Worried About Her Job? 'View' Co-Host Continues to Defend Imus' 'Free Speech'
Posted by Justin McCarthy on April 11, 2007 - 15:10.
The April 11 edition of "The View" again discussed Don Imus’s recent racist and sexist remarks about the Rutgers women’s basketball team. Rosie O’Donnell likewise continued her tirade about Imus’ alleged "free speech." In a statement too bizarre even for Joy Behar, Rosie said the next step is the "thought police" locking everyone up in Guantanamo Bay without a lawyer. Perhaps Rosie is feeling the heat after her own controversial remarks.
JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER: I think people who have a public voice just need to be conscious then of what they’re saying and the effect that it can have and understand that there’s going to be consequences if they say things like that.
O’DONNELL: Right, you just worry if the consequences, you know --
BEHAR: Because you could be next.
O’DONNELL: -impede upon- which is all right. If that happens, it happens. But the point of the story is, if it impedes on free speech in America, democracy is at stake. Because democracy is based on freedom of speech and freedom of the press. So we really have to worry about that in this country.
[Applause]
HASSELBECK: And we should be concerned and responsible without freedom too.
O’DONNELL: Right, but it’s not a freedom if you outlaw certain words or thoughts, because then the thought police come and then before you know it, everyone’s in Guantanamo Bay without representation.
HASSELBECK: That would be impossible to enforce.
BEHAR: What a jump!
Earlier in the segment, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and surprisingly, Joy Behar commented on the lack of moral authority Imus’ harshest critics, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton possess.
JOY BEHAR: There’s also something about casting the stone, when you-- everybody else is so innocent? You know
ELISABETH HASSELBECK: Yeah look at Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. I mean they, they’ve been quoted-
BEHAR: Jesse Jackson, don't you remember his "hymietown" remarks?
HASSELBECK: Yes
ROSIE O’DONNELL: Yeah
BEHAR: That, you know, he’s not innocent either on this topic. So, you know, let’s not be so hypocritical about all this.
HASSELBECK: And where does that stop? Where do you draw the line?
BEHAR: It was an obnoxious, racist remark, true, but it's all over the place.

Strange Bedfellows
It really hurts me to do this, because I'm a big fan of Wal-Mart. They are a tremendous boon to our nations economy, give employment opportunities to people who wouldn't otherwise have them and offer goods at discount prices so that those who are less fortunate can afford them.
It also irks the liberals to no end when I tell them that I shop there whenever I can, and I love that.
However I would be a hypocrite if I didn't give them the same treatment that I'm giving all of the other sponsors of "The View".
Therefor I am adding Wal-Mart to the Do Not Buy list.
While it pains me to do this, I believe it also presents those who are upset with Rosie's comments a great opportunity.
After all, if we can't get a family friendly corporation, with a track record of understanding the needs and values of traditional Americans on our side, then all is lost.
In addition to this if we can convince our nation's biggest retailer to drop their sponsorship of "The View" it would send a huge message to ABC and Barbara Walters.
So send them a message.
Today on the show, Rosie vigorously defended Don Imus, saying that he should not be fired for his racist remarks.
My question is, is there anyone out there who honestly believes that if Rosie were not in the center of a controversy herself that she would be standing up for Don Imus?
But alas, everyone on The View was yelling "free speech, free speech!" As if that has anything to do with any of this.
Those ladies never cease to amaze me. Sphere: Related Content

Rosie vs Imus: Exposing Media Hypocrisy
So one racist comment will get you suspended, but siding with America’s enemies and accusing your government of murder on national television will not.
That’s the lesson that we learned today as NBC suspended radio shock jock Don Imus for referring to the Rutger’s women’s basketball team as “Some nappy-headed hoes.”
The media outrage over this has been loud and clear. And yet when Rosie had her “ching-chong-ching” moment, when she compared Christians to terrorists, when she accused the British government of faking the kidnapping of its innocent service men and women, when she accused the American government of killing its own citizens, there is a collective, deafening silence from the mainstream media.
It’s not simply due to the fact that racism is the big bad boogieman of the liberal and black establishment which put Imus’s relatively harmless, yet undeniably offensive words, on the media’s radar.
But it’s also due to the fact that NBC, CBS and ABC don’t mind that much if Rosie bashes their country. I’m guessing that many of the execs and higher ups at the big liberal news organizations agree with her. And they should be ashamed.
Rosie’s consistent rhetoric is far more offensive and hurtful than what Imus said.
Imus apologized repeatedly for using a phrase, which is used all of the time by white people with a snicker and a smile, yet was mainstreamed by black hip-hop artists and Hollywood comedies.
Rosie has never apologized, for mainstreaming conspiracy theories and siding with a regime that is actively killing our soldiers during a time of war.
Look at Barbara Walters and Joy Behar, who devoted an entire segment to discussing Imus’s statements, on the View today, while at the same time gushing over how much they missed the still vacationing O’Donnell.
Their hypocrisy is representative of the entire media’s screwed up priorities when it comes to our nation and the danger it faces in the new century.
Racism is like sex these days. It sells. And yet in reality, Imus’s joke and the effect that it has on the black community or anyone who is up in arms over it, is completely insignificant when compared to Rosie and the potential that her comments have to hurt our nation and our fighting men and women in the Middle East. Not to mention those killed in the 9/11 attacks.
This is more proof -as if we needed any- that the mainstream media has simply turned a blind eye to what matters, in favor of a politically correct and increasingly left wing agenda.
So let’s send them a message. Boycott the sponsors listed to the right. Write them and show your displeasure. Write Barbara Walters as well. You can reach her by clicking on the link located a few posts down.
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, two individuals who if not given credibility by a sympathetic media, would be a humorous sideshow in our society, got their way on this one. Why shouldn’t we?

Return of The View
Season 10 of The View began today, with Barbara Walters announcing how upset she and the show's studio audience are that Rosie is absent until tomorrow.
Walters: "Our warm up person said Rosie is off today, Rosie will be back tomorrow, so people in the audience went (disappointed) ohhhhhhhhh!"
Behar: "They Miss her."
Walters: "We miss her too."
But don't cry. Barbara assured us that she would be back tomorrow.
In addition to this, the ladies of The View had a long discussion as to whether Don Imus should be kicked off the air or boycotted for racist comments made on his radio show.
Barbara, came out adamantly against a boycott. I wonder why?
I'll post that whole discussion as soon as I can find it.
Wow. The MSM loves that story, but was silent when it came to Rosie's hurtful comments.
So the boycott continues. The list will be completely refreshed from the one posted a week ago, since we don't know which sponsors, if any have dropped their advertising yet. So here is the new list. I will be adding live links later tonight.

Update
Happy Easter everyone.
A few updates for ya.
First, the Janome website has removed the picture of Rosie holding the sewing machine from their main page. They must have realized that the woman is poison.
Next, if you go to The View website, you will see links where you can send e-mails to Joy, Barbara and Elizabeth, but the one for Rosie is mysteriously missing.
My Guess is that she was getting so many angry messages that she chose to take down the address rather than hear what Americans really think about her and her loony 9/11 tin foil hat theories.
This leads me to my next idea.
Why don't we e-mail Barbara Walters and let her know how we feel about her employee. Here's a link:
While your there feel free to drop Joy Behar a line too. That woman needs a wake up call as well.
I respect Barbara for the doors that she has opened for women in journalism, but let's face it, if Hugh Downs were in charge of The View, Rosie would have been gone after she compared Islamo-fascists to Christians.
More tommorow. Sphere: Related Content

The View Sponsor Boycott - Day 7
With the week drawing to a close I think that we should once again focus our efforts on two specific sponsors and target them with e-mails.
First, it would be most effective to contact Proctor & Gamble directly since they are the company behind four of the listed sponsors. Crest, Tide, Pepto-Bismal and Head & Shoulders are all under their name.
Next with Easter coming up, I think we should also focus attention on M&M's. Here's a link:

The View Sponsor Boycott is On!
Thank you to everyone who has stopped by in the last couple of days and to all of those who are supporting this boycott.
A special thanks goes out to
She also made this awesome video:
Pretty great huh?
So what now?
I think that the sponsors are really feeling the heat and will start to pull out or demand that Rosie leave the show sooner rather than later.
Until then we must step up the pressure on them.
This is bigger than just rosie however, as Michelle's video points out, this is the first (and hopefully last) battle between common sense Americans and the shady sub-culture that is the "9/11 Truth" movement.
Rosie's removal from "The View" will essentially destroy this hateful and hurtful group of Americans for good.

STOP ROSIE Petition
There is another petition that you can sign here:
Also, we must be doing a good job. It has come to my attention that a nutty left-wing 9/11 conspiracy site called "What Really Happened.com" has gotten wind of the boycott and is implying on their site that Falling Panda is owned and controlled by a DC Law Firm.
As I have said many times before, these misleading tactics are what we are up against in this whole Rosie situation. They will say and do anything, even if it's not true in order to hurt their opponents.
Check out their website and see what I mean:
Facts simply don't matter to these people. That's why they're so dangerous. Sphere: Related Content

Boycott of "The View's" Sponsors. Google It!
The View Sponsor Boycott - Day 5
Rosie is off all of this week. Surely celebrating some non-denominational holiday.
What I'm hoping is that we can put so much pressure on her sponsors and ratchet up so much support for getting rid of her, that by Monday Barbara Walters will have given Rosie her walking papers.
So here are a few things that you can do this week.
1. Sign this on-line petition:
I don't know how much effect these on-line petitions have, but it couldn't hurt.
Make sure you mention this blog so that people can come back here and participate in the sponsor boycott.
2. Write these sponsors:
Tide
Pier 1 Imports
Two big American corporations. We will have a greater effect if we concentrate on a few sponsors at a time than all of them at once.
3. Tell people about what we're doing and why.
It's important that people know why we're angry. Tell your friends exactly what Rosie thinks of America and that ABC is giving her a platform to say whatever she wants.
4. Keep it Clean.
This is not Kos or Huffington Post people. Avoid name calling and personal attacks at all costs. It has the effect of lowering us to the level of Rosie and those who support her and we're better than that.

Rosie Is Biting Off More Than She Can Chew
The View Sponsor Boycott - Day 4
Today's View was a repeat, so I will not be updating sponsors today.
However, Rosie is making a powerful enemy and expediting the delivery of her pink slip from ABC if she thinks that she can take on O"Reilly and survive.
I encourage readers of this blog to write O'Reilly and inform him of our sponsor Boycott. He has implied on his radio show that someone should organize a boycott of some sort, so I'm sure he'd be happy to know that someone is doing it. Especially now.
Contact him at: oreilly@foxnews.com
Here's why:
Rosie Calls O'Reilly an "Imbecile," Murdoch "Big Brother"
Posted Apr 2nd 2007 8:10AM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Celebrity Feuds, Rosie O'Donnell
Rosie O'Donnell spat back at conservative talk-show pugilist Bill O'Reilly after he called for her firing from ABC last week, comparing him to a character in George Orwell's "1984" who is "a fattish ... man of paralyzing stupidity, a mass of imbecile enthusiasms."
She didn't reserve her fire for O'Reilly, however. On her blog at Rosie.com, Ro accused O'Reilly of being a totalitarian puppet of News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch, as she put it, in her lower-case verse, "like 1984/molding the facts/2 suit the needs/of big brother rupert." And Rosie also revealed that when she and co-host Joy Behar made reference on "The View" to a sex scandal involving O'Reilly, they were told they had to can it about O'Reilly or else "bill o would 'go after' all the hosts" of their show.
Well, Bill O. did go after Ro at least, as TMZ noted last week, calling Rosie "nutty" and "irresponsible" and suggesting that ABC should oust her from the show. Rosie went all literary-nasty on O'Reilly, comparing him to Parsons, a fellow employee of protagonist Winston Smith, whom Orwell says is "one of those completely unquestioning, devoted drudges on whom, more even than on the thought police, the stability of the Party depended."
Response from O'Reilly is awaited.
