Idiot Of The Week

Let’s recap this weeks top news stories.
Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus,
Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Nappy Headed Hoes, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus, Imus.

It was as if in a matter of hours, the media’s obsession with Anna Nicole had been replaced by the crucifixion of her antithesis. A walking skeleton of a man who had done the worst thing that any white person can ever do--especially an unsympathetic man who had made his career off of being a complete jackass.

But Imus, has paid for his crime. He has lost as much as we can take from him. Therefore, he is NOT our Idiot of The Week.

Instead this week’s honor goes to a group of individuals who basked in the light being projected from the Imus story this week. They served to remind us all that the most negative effects of racism in America, come not from those who offend minorities with a joke, but rather from those who exploit those who make mistakes, in order to shift the focus on themselves and their crusade, whatever that may be.

Therefore this week’s Idiots are:

Al Sharpton
Jesse Jackson
And
Mike Nifong.

Al Sharpton is the kind of public figure who appears on the scene every time something even remotely resembling an injustice occurs to an African-American.
He speaks, runs for president and then leaves, causing most people to collectively inquire; “Who the hell was that guy, and who gave him a microphone?”

Remember Tawana Brawley? Remember when he referred to Jews as “Diamond Merchants?” He doesn’t. And that’s the problem.

Jesse Jackson. He’s the guy who called New York “Hymie Town” and yet he’s the moral authority when it comes to racism in America? Huh?

Is it me or would Jesse be more effective if he were talking about the real problems facing the African American community, like, oh, I don’t know the 70% out of wed-lock birthrate? Oh, that’s right. He contributed to that!

Besides, It’s hard to find words that rhyme with “illegitimate”.

Finally, Nifong is the worst of the bunch. This man, ruined the lives of three innocent young men, simply to advance his political career in his heavily black district. And it worked.

Only now has he apologized.

It took them a week to fire Imus, it took almost a year to take Nifong off the case.

Guys like Jackson, Sharpton and the vile Nation of Islam, as well as politically correct, liberal professors at Duke University, rushed to convict the three men in the media, so that they could claim victory in their political Jihad against the big, bad “white power structure.”

And after all of the protests, all the chanting and mock press conferences, it turned out that the accuser was an alcoholic drug addict who had more DNA on her than a peep-show doorknob.

These three individuals are representative of the American media’s double standard in its neverending quest to make up for the evils of slavery and segregation. But all they are doing is supporting the race baiters like Jackson and Sharpton and facilitating those so-called black leaders' inability to deal with the real problems facing the black community.

Oh and the MSM is still attacking the Duke lacrosse players. Check out this piece by ABC's Terry Moran and prepare to get angry.

So Jesse, Al and Mike you are the Idiots of the Week.

And speaking of Idiots, here’s some Rosie news for you:

    AOL
After Imus, DeLay Calls for Rosie to Be Fired
Wants Conservatives to Lead Anti-O'Donnell Push

(April 13) -- Fanning the flames of discontent sparked by the Imus controversy, former congressman Tom DeLay is making a plea for his fellow conservatives to get Rosie O'Donnell fired for recent remarks she made.

"I'm calling for conservatives to take on Rosie O'Donnell," DeLay said during an interview with CNN. "She criticized and ridiculed Chinese-Americans, she accused the president of being responsible for 9/11. Let's now start calling for her resignation."

He also recently penned an article on TownHall.com titled "If the Left Takes Imus, We’ll Take Rosie."

DeLay's comments come just as Don Imus ' career was brought to a screeching halt after he referred to the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos."

O'Donnell responded to DeLay on her blog with a post titled "Tommy D," calling him a "criminal" and "sad slug," and also says his claims about her 9/11 comments are wrong. She then goes on to post a wikipedia transcript of Delay's indictments for illegal acceptance of funds while he was U.S. House Majority Leader.

O'Donnell's spurned quite a bit of controversy lately. She recently questioned the cause of collapse for World Trade Center 7, a building near the Twin Towers that collapsed eight hours after the planes first hit. That led to a feud between O'Donnell and Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.

Before the O'Reilly spat, O'Donnell and Donald Trump were involved in a back-and-forth feud after O'Donnell criticized Donald Trump 's ethics during the Miss USA scandal. Trump shot back at her, mocking her weight and looks.

First, there is no “feud” between Rosie and O’Reilly. O’Reilly never attacked Rosie personally, like she does to everyone including both O’Reilly and Delay, he’s just drawing attention to all the stupid stuff that she said.

And kudos to Tom Delay - another victim of liberal media character assassination - for his attempt to bring this story back into the spotlight.

By the way, if you want a good laugh, watch this video clip of The Nation of Islam's Malik Shabazz on O'Reilly, Thursday night. He insists that the Duke lacrosse players are guilty and then calls Michelle Malkin a prostitute. Ah....good old Islam.

I'll make sure each time I go to the store I buy triple or more of every product you and ethan have listed on your sites. You know, the ones that sponsor The View. Rosie is a brave woman and thank God for her! Interesting that these little silly blogs and websites against her seem to be from VERY YOUNG MALES. VERY interesting indeed. Have a great day.

I must second that response, I do not understand these young men going after Rosie for her exercising her right to free speech either. I stand by Rosie as well, she rocks. I know her 9/11 thing was a little out there, but so what. Rosie tells it like it is and she is on a show called the "View", its her views boys, thats the point.

Sorry, ro ro, but young men aren't the only ones who think Rosie went too far. Questioning things is fine, free speech is GREAT, but her comments have gone way beyond expressing a "view;" she has made blanket statements and proclaimed things true that no one could prove.

I used to like Rosie a lot, and I'm not boycotting anything, but I do think she should be more careful about differentiating between
    "I THINK that..."
    and
    "It is TRUE that..."

PS: Dan- how much do you want to bet that the same person posted both of those comments, above?

Hmmmm? Hard to say, I wouldn't put it past some people though.

I read a news story this morning about a rape that happened at the University of Michigan (over the weekend perhaps) that involved 3 football players and a girl from another school.

All 4 of them are black.

I'll eat my hat if this makes the news in the same capacity as the Duke case; I'll eat my hard drive if Sharpton or Jackson show any kind of support for either of the party's. Since they are all black there probably isn't much in it for these two shysters.

Falling Panda; while I was away for my sons wedding and resting up from the medical tests I underwent on Monday, I still made time to catch the O'Reily Factor. Bill was away and Michell Malkin sat in for him. I forgot the jerk's name, but she had the head of the New Black Panthers on as a guest. When she asked him if he would apologize for his condemnation of the three Duke lacross players, he had the gall to ask her if she would apologize for being "A political prostitute for Bill O'Reily". She responded by asking him; "Are you calling me a whore on national TV?" He said yes, to which Michell responded, "The only whore on this split screen is you."

I say "God bless you Michell for standing up to that ignorant bigot."

I'd like to see her go head to head with Rosie O'Donnell. I bet she would really put Rosie in her place.
